Stephen Jenkins
After leaving the army Stephen joined the Post
Office where he worked
for 6 years before moving to Yorkshire to run Riverside Court with his
wife Loren and her Mother and Father, Alan and Carol. Since Alan passed
away Stephen has had more of a management role in the home although is
still heavily involved in all “day to day” aspects of Riverside Court.
Stephen enjoys playing an active role in organising trips out and
activities for the residents! Between Stephen, Loren and Carol they
alternate their days off so there is always someone from the immediate
family on Duty.

Loren Jenkins
Prior to Riverside Court Loren lived in Ireland
and
America and worked as a Nanny. Lorens’ role in the home is much more
hands on and she likes to join in with the staff as a care assistant
and has very close relationships with all the residents. Loren involves
herself preparing meals in the home and will go out of her way to to
prepare a different tea for each resident as she knows all the likes
and dislikes.
